Holy crapazoid, Batman!  :P

You have games, AC.  I've thought about Metroid for a while, what do you think of it?

I can't really give an opinion on it. It's pretty cool but like a lot of the above listed games, I haven't played it that much. Metroid Other M is fairly cheap though. I paid less than $5 on Black Friday for it brand new. 8) It also should be noted that I didn't buy a Wii until late of May 2011 and I bought EBTR July 18 2011. So I've had all these games at the most for a little over a year.

p.s. I wonder what game has kept me from playing a lot of these games?? ::) :P ;D

I still say as good as the play is on GoldenEye it would be fun to get a few of us in a game.  TheJude and I tried it a few times last year, but we always ended up in a room with people who play it 24/7/365, and it wasn't a lot of fun.  I think this weekend I'll break it back out...

That sounds like what a EB rookie would say about us. :o :P ;D Seriously though I would like to play GE 007 with you. My FC is on my profile. I must warn you that I am a true rookie at that game. I'm sure you can teach me some things. :) TheJude needs to make his return! ;D

I'm sure that's what they say about us, but we don't have anything they don't (or can't) have when they come online.  Just a question of practice, skill, and how they want to compete.  I'm sure some are like me, I like the fun part of the racing more than the work hard for points part.  I bypass tons of 1-2-3-5 point stuff on a track just because that's not the fun part for me.  I do take the points lines when it's fun, though.

Anyway, everybody starts out equally in EB as far as what you come into the race with.  Just a question of skill and ability.  That's what kept me in the game, if I lost it was because I needed to get better.  With GoldenEye, on the other hand, not only are the 24/7/365 people more experienced and know the maps inside and out (which is expected), but they're almost invincible because of that experience points crap.  And, if you do get lucky enough to kill them a few times, they can just dump the room and you get booted and lose any experience points you've acquired that round.

The gameplay is good, though, so a few of us at the same level should have a great time in there...

Thanks, Big.  One of my first purchased games was a flight simulator.  It came on tape (that was before home computers had floppy disk drives), but it was the coolest thing I'd seen.  I played with flight sims and then combat games through the 80's and 90's, but eventually got away from them.  Red Baron (around 1990) for the PC was one of the last I bought and played.

I guess I didn't even know there were flight sims or flight combat games out for the Wii...

Ok, as you can see I acquired two Wii games this week. ;D Call of Duty MW3: Joom has this I think and who else does?? ::) I'm wondering because if it's not a fun game or noone plays it, I'm going to take it back before I open it. I bought all three on Black Friday for a good price. SSBB: Airman has this game I think, BTC, and who else? I've heard this game is very hard and a lot like GoldenEye. By that I mean, if you didn't get the game at release, it's very hard to beat the veteran players. Anyone with information, please respond. :D

p.s. Is BTC the "TopStar" of SSBB or can I learn quickly, smack his "Princess Peach" around a bit and achieve victory? ::) :P ;D

It has a learning curve but it is not like GoldenEye. It would be hard to beat veteran players though but with enough practice you could keep up with them. Just like anything you need to put time in to be good.

I am not the "TopStar" of SSBB. It is a very large community and I am just an average player. With enough practice you might be able to take a game off of me. ;D

I traded in Madden 11 and COD MW3. I put ten bucks with the trade-in and got four more games. 8) Numbers 4 and 32-34 are the new ones.

I couldn't keep COD MW3. I already have a game that I get killed over and over again online. It's called GoldenEye. ::)

Nice collection you have there Jude. I see that we have a lot of games in common. Geometry Wars is very good indeed. The Conduit, Monster Hunter Tri, Blazing Angels, Mario Kart Wii, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, and House of the Dead 2 and 3 are on my to buy in the future list.

If you haven't played Punch Out, it's one of my favorite Wii games. I played it a lot and it was my main game before I got EBTR. I didn't quite beat it, but almost. If you need any tips, let me know. ;)

Blazing Lazers on the VC is an excellent game. I plan on getting Gate of Thunder and Galaga 90. I have Gunstar Heroes on PC(Sega Collection) and Xevious on the Namco Megamix.

I don't have any WiiWare games but Contra Rebirth looks good. Thanks for making a list of your games. As for bowing down and being humbled, I don't know about all of that. :P ;D

Yeah, I still have a few games I'd like to get.  I've wanted to try other racing games, and Trackmania has caught my eye, as it allows you to create and share tracks, which sounds cool.  I've also thought about that Speed Racer game JOOM always talks about as well as various games from the Need for Speed.

There's also a few "Nintendo Games" I want like Skyward Sword, Kirby's Return to Dreamland and the Pikmin 2 remake (had the original on the GC and really liked it, but never got to the second one, and now with a third one coming soon to the Wii U, it seems like an opportune time).

There's also that Rayman game, Conduit 2, and a few others that I'm interested in.  Also, there's a few other VC/WiiWare games I'm interested in, such as the original F-Zero, Mega Man 10 and possibly the Contra and Gradius WiiWare games.

As for Punch Out, yeah, it's still in the plastic, which I'm not really proud of.  Just need to break it out one of these days.

Also, my opinion of Xevious was that it was kind of "meh".  Kind of wish I'd have spent my points elsewhere.

I think Speed Racer is a great racing game, it's just too bad it doesn't have online play.  Bots would love it...

Yeah, I've thought about Speed Racer but because of the lack of online play and the "car-fu" ::), I took it off of the list. I still might get it though. I looked into Trackmania and the Need for Speed games also. I would have never spent points on Xevious but as a game of 24 games on Namco Megamix, it's ok.

I also would like the following games on the Wii:

1. Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles
2. Nascar Kart Racing (BIG AIR would love this one!) :o
3. Conduit 2
4. My Sims Racing
5. Dead Rising Chop Til You Drop
6. Ghost Squad
7. Super Mario Galaxy 2
8. Wii Play Motion
9. Metroid Prime Trilogy<-----This game is $60 used. ???
10. Super Fruit Fall
11. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
12. Super Swing Golf 1 or 2
13. Sky Crawler Innocent Aces

I would like to buy the following VC and WiiWare games:

1. Star Soldier R
2. Tecmo Bowl
3. Neutopia 2
4. Super Mario Bros. 2
5. Metroid and Super Metroid
6. Streets of Rage 3 (I have part one on my PC Sega collection)
7. Golden Axe 3 (I have 1 and 2 on the same disc)
8. Strider
9. Splatterhouse 1 and 2
10. Dragon Spirit
11. Chrono Trigger
12. Dead Moon
13. Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3
14. Final Soldier
15. Super Star Soldier
16. Gley Lancer
17. Shining Force 1 and 2
18. Super Ghouls"n Ghosts
19. Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth
20. Gradius Rebirth

These are in addition to the other games I listed above. If I acquire all of these games, will I ever have the time to play them all, probably not. ::) ;D

While I'm at it, I will list the few GameCube games I have. Now, keep in mind that I have took LONG breaks from video games (1996-1999) and (2003-2010). I didn't buy my Wii until May of 2011. :-\ The Nintendo 64 is the only Nintendo system I have never owned. I have an old PlayStation 1 with about 40 games but not even a PlayStation 2.

Nintendo GameCube games:

1. NHL Hitz Pro
2. Luigi's Mansion
3. The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition
4. Fight Night Round 2
5. Resident Evil Zero
6. Resident Evil Code Veronica X
7. Resident Evil 4
8. NFL Blitz 2002
9. Madden 2002
10. Top Gun Combat Zones
11. Metroid Prime
12. F- Zero GX
13. 007 Agent Under Fire
14. 007 NightFire
15. NBA Live 2005
16. Sonic Mega Collection
17. Mega Man Anniversary Collection

Yes, this collection kind of sucks. :P

p.s. For any of you that would like the original: Excite Truck, it went on sale used at GameStop today for only $4.99!

Yeah, I've thought about Speed Racer but because of the lack of online play and the "car-fu" ::), I took it off of the list. I still might get it though.

The car-fu is one of the best parts of the game.  If you like any part of the banging in EB, you'd love what you can do with car-fu.  I haven't played it in quite a while, but I think I'll get it back out for a few days of play...
A computer once beat me at chess, but as it turns out it was no match for me at kickboxing... ;)

Actually, to clarify, "VC" stands for Virtual Console and refers to the section of the online shop that sells older games (NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, etc...).  These games aren't new, but are "emulated" versions of older Nintendo (and other console) games.

This section only accounts for "half" of the online store, as they later added "WiiWare" games.  These are totally new, totally original games that are often smaller in size... often akin to what you would see on these older consoles, but again, totally new.  However, most of them have improved graphics, including some with 3D graphics.

To purchase either of these, all you need to do is buy Wii points, which can be done either buy purchasing a card at any number of stores (Target, Best Buy, GameStop, etc...) or by purchasing them directly through the system.  Once you have some points, you can use them to purchase either Virtual Console or WiiWare games.  In fact, with a lot of great games and choices, it's often difficult to chose.
I don't always play videogames, but when I do, I prefer Excitebots.  Keep spinning, my friends.  8)
